SCRIPTURE INDEXES

(Alphabetical and chronological indexes are also available.)

Sermons that are part of our on-line collection are hotlinked to the index pages. Many of the sermons have not been posted and are therefore not available. It is our long-range goal to post the full e-texts of all sermons, but the process will take several years. Our collection has grown steadily since 1995 and could be complete as early as 2007. Meanwhile, a complete set of Spurgeon's sermons is available in e-text format from Ages Software. We recommend Pilgrim Publications, where the Ages disk may be purchased at a discount.

NOTE: Data files for these indexes were graciously provided to The Spurgeon Archive by Larry Pierce, creator of The Online Bible.
All data in the indexes have been carefully checked against the original sermon volumes themselves. Each passage was checked with the Bible to ensure the reference was correct. Unknown texts are coded with an asterisk (*). Starting with sermon 2253 in volume 38 (1892), an exposition of the scriptures follows most of the sermons. These are not included in the index.
